IMPROVING QUALITY AND PRODUCTIVITY

The welding process and welding work have a significant influence on the effectiveness of your production. Any improvement in quality and productivity has a positive effect on overall production costs. With our gas mixtures you create the optimum conditions for this:

Welding argon, Ferroline X4, Lasline C  - for unalloyed strucutral steel
Welding argon, Nitrogen 5.0, Inoxline H5, Lasline H5 - for high-alloy austenitic steel
Welding argon, Nitrogen 5.0, Aluline He30 - for aluminum

Lasline, Ferroline, Inoxline, Aluline – Shielding Gas Mixtures for Hand-Held Laser Beam Welding

Lasline, Ferroline, Inoxline, Aluline – Shielding Gas Mixtures for Hand-Held Laser Beam Welding

Lower production costs, the highest occupational safety, suitable parameters and high-quality shielding gases, lowest moisture content in the shielding gas, first-class service …

IN LINE … with the lowest moisture level in the shielding gas

Despite high gas purity, moisture can occur, mainly through the gas hoses. This results in pores or hydrogen cracks. When purchasing accessories, make sure they are of certified quality!

IN LINE ... WITH MAXIMUM OCUPATIONAL SAFETY

Fiber lasers are typically used in hand-held laser beam welding. Their laser beam has a wavelength that makes direct exposure extremely dangerous. In addition, potential reflections and scattered radiation must be taken into account.

Protect welding personnel and the work environment by:

  • wearing personal protective equipment (laser goggles, laser-protective clothing, and laser-protective gloves)
  • using an enclosure (laser booth, laser curtain, or laser partition). A laser booth is recommended.

IN LINE … WITH LOWER PRODUCTION COSTS

Do you want to achieve potential savings in your production processes? Reduce costs without compromising on quality? We would be happy to carry out a detailed profitability analysis, including a performance comparison. Because shielding gases enable cost savings without compromising on quality.

IN LINE ... WITH SUITABLE PARAMETERS AND PROTECTIVE GASES

Nitrogen is often recommended as a shielding gas for hand-held laser beam welding machines.

However, the choice of shielding gas also depends on the welding system. Beam quality, energy distribution in the beam, and any wobble functions play a major role in the selection of gases.

Benefit from our expertise: We’d be happy to assist you in selecting the right shielding gas and in determining the optimal parameters.
