Teaser Arc Brazing Welding & Cutting

revised: Customer process arc brazing in the Welding & Cutting sector

Arc brazing

GMA process with low energy

PROCESS DESCRIPTION

Metal shielding gas brazing is similar to MAG welding. An endless wire electrode is fed to the arc by a wire conveyor and melted under a shielding gas jacket. The shielding gases have different properties depending on their composition, and therefore different effects on the solder result. A correct choice of the parameters - current, voltage, wire feed - prevents melting of the surfaces of the components to be joined.  A joint, similar to that created with flame soldering, is created.
